The R2.5 is a reflection of the traditional ‘Lean-to’ building found throughout the Highlands of Scotland, adding character by using contrasting materials.

The R2.5 is an extended version of the R2. Based on the same floor plan, the R2.5 benefits from having a lean-to living space which is added to the kitchen gable. This provides a larger main living space and gives the option of replacing the living room with a third, downstairs, bedroom. The house is centred around an efficient core housing the bathroom, storage and stair.

Upstairs, there is a large family bathroom and 2 double bedrooms open to the ceiling apex, with large rooflights providing light and views.
